Senior Technical Recruiter, Consultant Part-Time

Location: San Jose, CA
This is a role for individual/consultant seeking approximately 30 hours a week recruiting project work.

We're looking to add to our team and are looking for a contract recruiter to join our @HIRE team to help provide technical recruiting expertise for our client base.  Please share your resume highlighting you're matching skillset per our below requirements, as well as please include your hourly rate expectations and availability.  We'd like applicants to be available from San Francisco to San Jose, as projects vary.  Resume review and recruiting success should include for tech companies in the spaces using Java, distributed computing, big data, networking technologies and protocols, enterprise Saas, mobile, and wireless, and/or cloud.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Partner with recruiting the team to identify recruitment needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to develop recruiting pipeline
  • Utilize “outside the box” recruiting techniques to source candidates through the use of the internet, social media and other online resources
  • Identify qualified applicants, conduct screening interviews, coordinate onsite interviews, negotiate compensation, and close candidate
  • Leverage internal resources to develop and close candidates
  • Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system
  • Develop and expand knowledge of the marketplace, competitors, and top talent

Skills & Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting in a fast-paced organization, with a focus on Software Engineering (we'd like to see strong enterprise, mobile, and some new cloud technology recruiting success on your resume)
  • ATS guru, ability to document any/all correspondence in realtime - must be highly organized in this arena
  • Strong sales/consultative approach with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Experience in sourcing and search methods for both passive and active candidates, plus a knack to attract and develop leads
  • Knowledge of effective use of search engines, job sites, social networks, and other search tools
  • Proven ability to develop and close qualified candidates
  • Track record of delivering results on hiring goals and expectations
  • Proven track record of steady placements, running a desk with attention to detail, high ethics and integrity
