We're looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager to define and execute Poshmark’s engagement strategy with a focus on increasing lifetime value and reducing churn.  As a Sr. Product Manager, you will shape the way we re-engage our community at every stage of the user lifecycle.  The role requires technical knowledge, structured problem-solving skills, and sound product judgment.  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, who has experience in email and in-app communication tools, performance marketing, and has a passion for user-centric design.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the product vision, planning, development and execution for life cycle marketing at Poshmark 
  • Ensure high level owned channel campaign deliverability including email, push notifications, in-app channels
  • Discover and resolve email delivery problems with specific ISPs and mailbox providers
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey to develop and test different channels and programs that increase retention and reactivate churned users
  • Use engagement and user interaction data from to send personalized messaging optimized for each unique customer
  • Evangelize and communicate your product roadmap and goals to leadership and cross functional stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Conduct weekly and monthly KPI meetings; communicate key strategies, insights and results to senior management
  • Lead complex initiatives in a matrixed environment to drive flawless, on-time execution while balancing both short-term gains and long-term scalability
  • Lead your product development team of developers, designers, data scientists to deliver against an agile roadmap
  • The role reports to the Director of Product, Growth

Desired Skills

  • BS/BA required, MBA a plus
  • 2-4+ years product management experience preferably at a consumer internet, mobile gaming, consulting, or advertising firm
  • Deep expertise across all communication channels including: email, push notifications, SMS and in-app notifications.
  • Familiarity with 3rd-party delivery tools (250ok, Litmus, Return Path, SendGrid, etc.) and end to end email delivery experience
  • Proficient with ISP/domain-specific delivery policies and feedback loops with ISPs is a plus
  • Passion for Poshmark’s mission and the unique intersection of social and marketplace
  • Strong analytical background, data driven reasoning, and ability to understand key performance drivers
  • Must have excellent written and communication skills and be extremely detail oriented
  • Strong technical, architectural understanding of mobile and web products
  • Must have experience working with design and engineering teams to deliver end to end products
